Ride The Wild Wind Supports STOP SOPA

While we’re not a US based site we would, like every other ‘foreign’ site, and lets face it every user of the web, be effected by the poorly thought through SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect Intellectual Property Act) bills being considered in the US.

There’s a wealth of information on-line about the acts and we’ll not duplicate it here.  We will however join others in support of those who are trying to stop these bills on ‘Blackout Wednesday’ and suggest that you read a superb article on Mashable which breaks down this complex and emotive subject.  Both SOPA and PIPA are wild infringements of people’s liberties and the freedom of expression on the web.  Oppose them in every way.
