The 2012 Honda Fireblade

So here it is via a few leaks the Honda Fireblade coming in 2012.  All in it’s a bit of a spit and polish makeover rather than any industry defining update to challenge its competitors.  There’s none of the high-tech wizardry that’s a staple feature of BMW or Ducati’s machines these days but maybe that’s a good thing.  Maybe Honda just wanted to tweak its already impress ride and ensure it’s fans don’t need an IT certificate to operate it.

 

There’s not too much to say in terms of new features.  The Fireblade has received a restyle in line with Honda’s general new VFR look and there’s new Showa forks and rear shock to go along with it.  This is it bar new clocks and wheels which admittedly look nice.

 

All in an incremental update rather than industry redefining masterpiece, but maybe this is all that’s needed.
